Theme of 10th UThfest - 10RAS “Where YouthRAS meets Navras”

Indian art and culture are deeply rooted in the concept of Navras—the nine fundamental emotions that form the foundation of expression in dance, music, theatre, literature, and fine arts. The tenth element, Youth, symbolizes contemporary creativity, innovation, passion, and the evolving voice of the new generation.Together, Navras and YouthRAS create a complete spectrum of artistic and emotional expression.

The 10th Uth Fest draws inspiration from the nine classical emotions:Shringara (Love/Beauty), Hasya (Joy/Humour), Karuna (Sorrow/Compassion), Raudra (Anger & Power), Veera (Heroism/Courage), Bhayanaka (Fear), Bibhatsa (Disgust/Social), Adbhuta (Wonder/Surprise) and Shanta (Peace/Tranquillity).

Each Rasa represents a unique emotional dimension reflected through music, dance, drama, art, literature, and competitive events. By blending these timeless emotions with the energy, innovation, and enthusiasm of today’s youth—YouthRAS—the fest becomes a dynamic platform where tradition meets modern expression.

The 10th Youth Fest celebrates a decade of emotions, creativity, and youth power—uniting diverse talents under one cultural spirit.

It’s a fest from Navras to Utsaah.

It’s a fest from Tradition to Trend.

It’s the Festival of 10 Emotions.
