Tarsadia Institute of Chemical Science is one of the leading institute in the university, which offers graduate and post graduate courses viz. Bachelors of Chemistry (B.Sc. - Chemistry),B. Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry, M.Sc (Organic Chemistry), M.Sc. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) , M.Sc (Industrial Chemistry) and M.Sc (Analytical Chemistry). Over the years, institute has progressed at rapid pace with development in both spheres of infrastructure facilities and academic programmes. The institute is also having facilities to pursue the student for Ph.D program. This institute constitutes a 15 member faculty expertise in frontier level of research.

The main areas of research being Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Green Chemistry, Synthesis of Dyes, Medicinal Chemistry Heterocyclic Chemistry, Synthesis and Characterization of Biological Active compounds, Polymer Synthesis, modification and characterization, High Performance Polymers, Studies in Polymer solution, Synthesis of Bioactive nanomaterials, Supramolecular chemistry based synthesis, Synthesis and characterization of inorganic nanoparticles.
