About UTU-SICRT
The Sophisticated Instrumentation Center for Research and Testing was established with an aim to provide easy access to modern research and development facilities and state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation to support the research activities of its faculty and students.
The Centre houses a wide-range of modern formulation development equipment and analytical instruments operated and maintained by a team of qualified and trained faculty members who are experts in their fields. They are available to provide guidance and support to students and researchers in their research endeavour.
Objectives of UTU-SICRT
The primary objectives of the centre are:
- To provide modern research facilities and testing services to research scientists for data acquisition
- To develop new methods of analysis using advanced techniques and support experimental research
- To provide hands-on training to students and researchers for the handling of sophisticated equipment and analytical instruments
